Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Growbeam at growbeam.co.uk ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
What the Service provides
Growbeam helps UK small businesses understand website and growth opportunities through checks of public web pages, structured findings, action plans, social draft suggestions, and enquiry tracking you maintain in the dashboard.
Features and limits depend on your plan (see Pricing). We may change, improve, or retire features with reasonable notice where the change materially affects paid plans.
No performance guarantees
The Service is advisory and operational support, not a guarantee of commercial results. We do not promise specific search rankings, traffic levels, viral reach, lead volumes, or revenue. Outcomes depend on your market, website, competition, and the work you put in.
Automated checks and suggestions are based on publicly available page content and rules we maintain. They may be incomplete or wrong for your situation — use professional judgment before acting.
Your account
- Provide accurate registration details and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account unless you tell us promptly of unauthorised access.
- One person or business should not share login credentials across unrelated organisations.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, misleading, or harmful purposes.
- Submit URLs or content you do not have permission to analyse, or that violate third-party rights.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, probe or attack our systems, or scrape the Service at scale.
- Resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement.
- Upload malware or interfere with other users' access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules or pose a security risk, after notice where reasonable.
Website checks
When you submit a website URL, you instruct us to fetch publicly accessible pages (within your plan limits) to generate audit results. You confirm you own or control that site, or have permission to request the check. We are not responsible for third-party site availability, robots.txt restrictions, or changes made after a check.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel in billing settings or via our payment provider. Prices include VAT where stated on checkout.
You may cancel renewal at any time; access typically continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds follow applicable UK consumer law — for example statutory rights for distance contracts where they apply. Contact info@growbase.co.uk for billing disputes.
Free tiers and pilot features may change or end; we will communicate material reductions to free allowances where practicable.
Intellectual property
We own the Service, software, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of your business content and data you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.
Report exports and drafts we generate are for your use in running your business. Do not remove proprietary notices where we include them in exported materials.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Subject to that, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as lost profit or goodwill) arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you for claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period (or £100 if you use a free plan), except where a higher limit is required by law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature should survive (such as liability limits and governing law) continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in Scotland or Northern Ireland where they apply to you.
