What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember your session, preferences, or how pages are used. Similar technologies (such as local storage) may be used for the same purposes; we refer to them collectively as "cookies" here.

How Growbeam uses cookies

We keep cookie use minimal. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on growbeam.co.uk. The tables below describe what you can expect today.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Service to work. They cannot be switched off in our systems without breaking sign-in or security.

PurposeExamplesDuration
AuthenticationSession tokens set by our auth provider (Supabase) so you stay signed in securelySession / as configured
Demo modeA short-lived cookie if you open the sample dashboard demo from the marketing siteLimited period
SecurityCookies that help prevent cross-site request forgery and protect your accountSession

Functional cookies

These remember choices you make (such as dismissing a banner or UI preferences). They are not essential but improve usability. We use few or none on the marketing site today; dashboard preferences may be stored in your account rather than in cookies.

Analytics and measurement

We do not set optional analytics cookies on the public marketing site by default in this release. If we add product analytics or you enable optional measurement integrations in a paid plan, we will:

  • Describe the provider and purpose in this policy.
  • Ask for consent where UK law requires it before non-essential cookies are set.
  • Give you a way to withdraw consent or disable the integration in settings.

Third-party cookies

When you complete checkout, our payment provider (Stripe) may set cookies on their domain to prevent fraud and process payment. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe's own policies. Embedded content from other sites is kept to a minimum on growbeam.co.uk.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in. For guidance, see your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others all offer cookie controls).

To exercise broader privacy rights, see our Privacy Policy or email info@growbase.co.uk.

Updates

We will update this page when our use of cookies changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
